S.A.F.E. Education Agency, which stands for Student Advocacy & Family Engagement Education Agency, LLC, is on a mission to disrupt the school-to-prison pipeline by amplifying student voices, empowering families, and arming educators with the tools needed to cultivate healing, equity, and liberation in schools, particularly for Black and Brown youth in South Fulton and beyond. What sets S.A.F.E. apart is its holistic approach to advocacy and mentorship, offering a range of services such as the SHIFT Curriculum (K-12), SHIFT Forward mentorship program, professional development for educators, and school/district consulting. By putting redemption, advocacy, and lived testimony at the forefront of their work, S.A.F.E. is not only transforming individual lives but also impacting entire communities. One of the key highlights of S.A.F.E. is its commitment to center returning citizens as mentors, recognizing their unique perspectives and strengths in guiding and supporting the next generation. By rooting their initiatives in real-life experiences and leading with advocacy, S.A.F.E. is paving the way for meaningful change in the education landscape. To support their vision and goals, S.A.F.E. is in the process of developing a comprehensive website that will serve as a digital hub for downloadable resources, a calendar for events, a secure login for partner schools, data dashboards, and a platform for donations and sustainability. This website aims to increase community engagement, streamline curriculum access for districts, and showcase the impact and outcomes of S.A.F.E.'s initiatives. In a time where education equity and social justice are at the forefront of public discourse, organizations like S.A.F.E. Education Agency are not just valuable but essential. By prioritizing advocacy, mentorship, and family engagement, S.A.F.E. is paving the way for a more inclusive and compassionate educational landscape for all.
