Join the S.A.F.E. Education Agency's transformative online course, 'Empowering Voices: Advocating for Equity in Education'. This course is designed for educators, families, and community advocates committed to interrupting the school-to-prison pipeline and promoting healing and equity in schools. Over three engaging sections, participants will explore critical topics such as understanding systemic barriers, implementing the SHIFT Curriculum, and cultivating mentorship and family engagement strategies. Each step encourages self-reflection and action planning, ensuring participants leave equipped with practical tools to foster a supportive educational environment for Black and Brown youth. By the end of this course, participants will feel empowered to advocate for systemic change in their communities, bringing real-life experiences to the forefront and reinforcing their commitment to student liberation. Together, we will create a pathway toward restorative educational practices that honor and uplift all voices in the learning community.
